MyCatch2day is Wisely. This makes me think of a phrase I saw when I needed it most……….”Choose Wisely.”
When I had completely spun out of control in my life and was in the process of reeling my life back in, I was driving one afternoon and saw this phrase on the back of the car in front of me. I literally pulled over to the side of the road and wrote that on the front of what was to be my notebook of change.
I have been at a bit of a crossroads in my life lately and struggling with different things, situations and people that have appeared in my life to distract me from my chosen purpose. It is important not to get distracted from the things in our daily life. I know with 100% certainty, I was meant to relocate to Phoenix from my home in Portland, Oregon so that I may really live the lesson of “choose wisely” and continue on my chosen path of creating the best version of myself. There is no way I could have done the work I needed to with all the wonderful distractions in Portland.
So, here I am. With the most amazing clarity I have ever had in my life. Living my life, now on purpose AND with purpose. Can I please tell you, it feels so good to know that I am in the drivers seat and not riding shotgun or in the back seat of my life. I do not do anything unless it is life giving to me and to others. When presented with a situation, I will often ask my self “is this in alignment with my chosen path?” I will then close my eyes, take in several deep belly breaths, hold it and count to 10, then breathe out, the answer always comes. It may not be the answer I think I want, but it is ALWAYS the right answer.
When we learn to choose wisely, our lives remain in alignment with who we are and where we are going. What I know for sure, when we listen, we are always shown the right answer, we just need to ask!~Shirene
