Do you suffer from the Monday rut?

For those of you that woke up and thought, ugh, it is Monday again, the start of another boring week, and cannot wait till the weekend already? I would like you to think about this for a moment……..Do you know that a RUT differs from a GRAVE, only in depth? How sad is that? You may wish to read that again. If you approach Monday and your week with no excitement and happiness, there is a strong possibility you are slowly dying inside.

Now you are thinking, GREAT? Thanks Shirene, for the exciting news that I am dying! Well, we are what we think! I would like to suggest find something at work, or in your life you are excited about. Is there a project you can start creating? Is there an inspirational book you have been wanting to read? Even something as simple as changing the sheets on your bed can breed excitement! It does not have to cost money, but it must spark in some way a sense of excitement! Now get to thinking!

Try a simple shift of your energy right where you are. Breathe in a deep belly breath, hold it and count to 10, let it go with a big sigh! Think about what is in front of you and now you are thinking about something positive, how you need the breathe to live!

Now that we are thinking about the breath, try thinking about a beautiful door and its ornateness. This beautiful ornate door is fire engine red, with a apple sized clear etched glass knob. As you are staring at the door, you imagine a life of wonder and newness on the other side. What does the sky look like on the other side of that door, is it noisy or quiet, what does it smell like? Do you smell fresh cut grass? Do you smell coffee and biscuits? Will you walk through the door and it will be daylight or dusk? Who is on the other side of the door? Is it family, friends, animals, or will there be no one. This is all up to you and whatever you create! Remember, this is your life by design, I am just the impetus that is forcing you to shift your energy and think new thoughts and shift your reality.

Remember, the only difference between and rut and a grave is the depth! Here’s to a happy Monday, week and the rest of your amazing life!~Shirene
